Research Resource Center (RRC)

The Institute has established a Research Resources Centre (RRC) during the academic year 2010. The mandate of the RRC is to undertake independent research initiatives on behalf of the Institute and to provide support ongoing initiatives of other individuals or organizations. A Board has been constituted to formulate action plans, proposals etc., on behalf of the RRC and to oversee the overall functioning of the RRC. The RRC provided technical support to the various NGOs, Institutions and individuals in their research work. RRC was initiated by then Professor-Principal Dr John Menachery as Honorary Director and activities were leaded by Dr Arun Kumar (retired Associate Professor) and Dr Keshav Walke (Associate Professor).

The RRC had also launched a ‘Short Term Certificate Course in Research Methodology’, which was self-financed and autonomous in nature, titled : “Skill Enhancement Program for Research in the Social Sciences (SEPReSS)”. RRC had also ran “Six Month Short Term Certificate Course in Social Sciences Research Methods” affiliated to Department of Adult, Continuing and Extension Education, RTM Nagpur University for three years (2015-2018) Presently RRC is running value added programme “Certificate Course in Research Methodology” for the MSW Final Year students supporting them in understanding the various concepts of research Methods and in completing their own research dissertation leading in making them experts in Research Methods. At present Dr Keshav Walke, Officiating Principal is Director of the RRC.
