Main aim of any education is to develop Knowledge, Skills and Attitude among the learners. Education provides the tool and opportunity to fulfil one’s dream. Education is the only means to change the outlook of the society. The quality education provides us various angles and promotes our thinking line for different avenues.

The Matru Sewa Sangh (MSS) founded by two child widows – Padmashree Kamalatai Hospet & Venutai Nene in 1921 is an all-women organization actively involved in a variety of developmental activities ranging from maternity homes, homes for elderly care, schools for mentally and physically challenged, nursing training, and social work education. Matru Sewa Sangh Institute of Social Work (MSSISW) the first college of Social Work in the Vidarbha region of Maharashtra, established by Dr. Satyabala Tayal. Ever since its inception in the year 1958, it has been imparting education and thereby grooming the youngsters with a view to make them good citizens of this country. We are proud to mention that we have adopted excellence practices, methodology and equipments in the functioning of the Institute. NAAC Bangalore reaccredited it as B++ Grade Institute in fourth cycle. We are happy to mention here that this centrally located Institute is a unique in terms of infrastructure, highly qualified and competent staff and the teacher – student relationship. We wish that this Institute will scale new heights in the years to come.
